•San Francisco, California’s Anchor Brewing Company has launched the latest release in its Brewers’ Pale Ale series, Galaxy Hop Blend. The 5.3% abv ale is brewed to feature the Australian Galaxy hop, with Ekuanot, Calypso, and Cascade hops thrown in to support and add depth of flavor. Anchor Brewing’s Brewers’ Pale Ale Galaxy Hop Blend is now available in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft at select locations (including Anchor’s Taproom) throughout San Francisco.
•Deep Ellum Brewing Company is set to introduce Blind Lemon, a Dallas, Texas-brewed hard seltzer, in early August. The 5% abv seltzer is made using beet sugar, yeast, and lemons, and named for Blind Lemon Jefferson, an influential early-20th century Blues musician. Blind Lemon Hard Seltzer will soon be available on draft across Texas with 12-packs of 12-ounce cans to follow by year’s end.
