•The Portland, Oregon-based Craft Brew Alliance saw core beer sales increase by 2.7% to $60.6 million and depletions grew by 1% in its fiscal second quarter through June, with the Kona brand driving growth. Kona’s depletions and shipments were up 8% and 11%, respectively. According to the company, a strong positive response to Kona’s national marketing initiatives and on-premise growth bolstered the brand in the three-month period. In addition to Kona, Craft Brew Alliance owns Widmer Brothers, Red Hook, and Cisco Brewers, among others.
