•Escondido, California-based Stone Brewing released Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout, a collaboration between the brewery, Star Trek alumnus Will Wheaton, and the website Fark. An 11.5% abv imperial stout, the bottle features art by X-Men illustrator Alan Davis reminiscent of vintage Star Wars posters. Brewed with pecans, wheat, and flaked rye, it is available nationwide on draft, in 22-ounce bottles, and in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans. Stone is the ninth largest craft brewery in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.

•San Diego, California-based Saint Archer Brewing Company is launching a new addition to their core line-up with Tropical IPA. The West Coast Style Tropical IPA uses Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe Hops with a blend of mango and passion fruit. At 7% abv, it will join the IPA, Blonde Ale, White Ale, Pale Ale, Hazy IPA, and Mexican Lager as the latest of Saint Archer’s core beers. The Tropical IPA will be available in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans in select stores throughout California, Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, and Arizona, as well as on draft in both of the brewery’s taprooms in Miramar and Leucadia. Saint Archer is part of the MillerCoors family of breweries.
