•Sixpoint Brewery is planning to open a new 20,000-square-foot brewery and taproom in Gowanus, Brooklyn in May 2020. The space will feature a production brewing system, a full-service kitchen and bar, a street level outdoor beer garden, and a 4,000-square-foot rooftop beer garden with views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skylines. Sixpoint, known for core brews including Bengali IPA, Sweet Action cream ale, and The Crisp lager, is part of the Artisanal Brewing Ventures portfolio, which also includes Southern Tier and Victory Brewing and ranks as the 20th-largest craft brewer nationwide, according to the Brewers Association.

•Sparks, Nevada’s Revision Brewing Company is predicting a 60% increase over last year’s production to over 20,000 barrels by the end of 2019. The company, which was founded in 2017, is planning an expansion project for next year to meet increasing demand. According to brewmaster and CEO Jeremy Warren, the company intends to install a 40-barrel brew system and reach a production capacity of 40,000 barrels.
