•Louisiana-based Bayou Rum, part of the Stoli Group portfolio, has launched a Private Barrel program for retailers and on-premise accounts. Under the new initiative, Bayou master blender Reiniel Vicente and master distiller Jeff Murphy will work directly with retailers and restaurateurs looking to select their own custom barrel of Bayou. All sales and shipments of the actual bottled product will be conducted via standard wholesale distribution channels. Earlier this summer, Bayou unveiled an $8 million distillery expansion that added a barrel library and event center.

•Hotaling & Co. is introducing a new limited edition under its Dingle Irish whiskey brand, Single Malt Batch No. 4. Retailing at $100 a 750-ml., the newcomer is at 46.5% abv. and is a triple-distilled blend of whiskies from Dingle’s Co. Kerry distillery aged in Bourbon, Sherry (Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso), and Port casks. Single Malt Batch No. 4 will be distributed to key markets nationwide.
