•California craft brewer Firestone Walker has released Bretta Blanc from its Barrelworks wild ale brewery. The 8.9% abv ale is fermented with a combination of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grapes from owner David Walker’s family vineyard and a light base beer with wild yeasts. The results were then aged between one and three years in French oak barrels before the final blend was assembled. Bretta Blanc is rolling out now in limited quantities on draft and in 375-ml. bottles throughout Firestone Walker’s distribution footprint. The brewery combined with Duval Moortgat in 2015.

•Bend, Oregon-based 10 Barrel Brewing is releasing Profuse Juice, a limited-release hazy IPA. The 6.5% abv was brewed to bring out the tropical flavor notes in hops while keeping bitterness to a minimum. It will hit retail next month and will remain available until March of next year. A-B InBev acquired 10 Barrel in late 2014.
