•Tampa, Florida-based Cigar City Brewing has added Margarita Gose, previously a limited release, to its year-round portfolio. The 4.2% abv sour beer is brewed with lime, orange, and salt. Previous versions were brewed using a time-consuming souring process that made the beer difficult to produce year-round. Earlier this year Cigar City began to work with a new yeast strain that sped up the souring process. Margarita Gose is now rolling out to Cigar City’s distribution footprint and will reach all markets by the end of 2019. Cigar City is part of the Canarchy Collective of brewers.

•Oakshire Brewing in Eugene, Oregon is releasing its Rainbow Sherbet Smoothie IPA in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans at its taproom. The beer is making a return since its time as a draft-only offering last winter. The can for the 6.7% abv brew features a bright yellow label polka-dotted with scoops of rainbow sherbet. Only 60 cases were produced for the can sale, with a 4-pack going for $20. Individual customers are limited to purchasing one case. Additionally, the IPA returns to draft at limited taprooms around Oregon. Oakshire is a small batch brewer founded in 2006 that operates two tap rooms, one in Eugene and one in Portland.
