October 1, 2019•Comstock Park, Michigan-based Perrin Brewing is releasing S’more Stout, the newest entry in its Side Hustle Series. Available now at the Perrin Pub on draft and in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans, statewide distribution will follow soon. The 7% abv beer contains flavors of marshmallow, graham cracker, and chocolate and is made with lactose to create a rich, creamy texture, according to the brewery. Perrin releases a new entry in the Side Hustle Series every other month. Founded in 2012, the brewery is part of the Canarchy Collective.
•Minneapolis craft brewer Surly Brewing Co. is releasing Black Horsemen Danish-style black lager, made in collaboration with heavy metal musician King Diamond. The beer will be available at select venues along King Diamond’s upcoming tour, where the musician will perform at 23 stops across the U.S. and Canada. The beer is at 6% abv and is made with yeast from Carlsberg Brewing, Diamond’s favorite. A limited run of Black Horsemen will be available across Surly’s distribution footprint.
