•The Boston Beer Company has added a new entry to the Angry Orchard family of hard ciders. Crisp Apple Unfiltered is a 6% abv cider made from culinary and bittersweet apples. According to the company, the cider is low in acid and high in tannin, and has the aroma of an apple orchard. As the name suggests, it’s bottled unfiltered and at a slightly higher abv than most Angry Orchard releases. Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Unfiltered is now available across the U.S. in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles for a suggested price of $10.

•Cooperstown, New York-based Red Shed Brewery has released four new beers. Available at their two taprooms, the new creations are Blueberry Thyme Gose (4.5% abv), made with blueberries and thyme from local farms; Oktoberfest (6.1% abv), made in the traditional German style; Geordie Boy Brown (5.8% abv), an English Brown ale, inspired by founder Jack Hasbrouck’s travels to England; and Inner Strength Double IPA (8.8% abv). Red Shed’s beers are distributed throughout the region in Chenango, Herkimer, Otsego, and Oneida counties, among others.
