Craft Brewing and Distilling News for October 23, 2019

•New Braunfels, Texas-based Dos Rios Tequila has partnered with Silver Eagle Distributors to bring the Dos Rios portfolio to the Houston market. Both Dos Rios Blanc and Reposado are distilled from 100% blue agave sourced from Amatitán in Jalisco’s lowland region before bottling at 40% abv. While the initial rollout is targeted, Dos Rios and Silver Eagle will increase distribution depth through 2020. Silver Eagle is the largest distributor of Anheuser-Busch products in the U.S., and has been delving into spirits lately, also distributing Tattersall Distilling, Highway vodka, 8th Wonder Distillery, Boone & Crockett Club Whiskey.
