•Nellysford, Virginia-based cider maker Bold Rock is set to join Artisanal Brewing Ventures, the collective that includes Sixpoint Brewery, Southern Tier Brewing, and Victory Brewing. By joining Artisanal Brewing, Bold Rock gains access to the alliance’s production facilities, sales team, and distribution network. Founded in 2012, Bold Rock operates four taprooms in Virginia and North California and produces 12 styles of hard cider that include a rosé (6% abv), pear (4.7% abv), and the hopped India Pressed Apple (4.7% abv).

•Anchor Brewing Company is releasing Baykeeper IPA, its collaboration with local non-profit environmental group San Francisco Baykeeper, in cans. Originally launched last January, the 7% abv IPA is made with Calypso, El Dorado, Cascade, and Amarillo Cryo hops. Baykeeper is available nationwide in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans for a suggested price of $11. Known for its flagship Anchor Steam beer, Anchor Brewing was acquired by Sapporo for $85 million in 2017.
