News Alert: Treasury Names Ben Dollard Americas President

December 5, 2019

Treasury Wine Estates has named industry veteran Ben Dollard as its president for the Americas region, effective January 13. He will be based at Treasury’s offices in Oakland, California.

Dollard replaces Angus McPherson, who notified the company that he is unable to relocate to the U.S. as planned, due to unforeseen personal circumstances. McPherson was named to the role over the summer, replacing Victoria Snyder.

A 20-year industry veteran, Dollard has served in a number of key leadership roles with Constellation, including Chief Growth Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and head of International Markets for Constellation Brands’ Wine and Spirits Division, as well as President of the Canadian wine business. Currently, he is Constellation’s President, Craft & Specialty.

Dollard will report to Tim Ford, currently Treasury’s COO. Ford is slated to become CEO of the company during its fiscal first quarter of 2021, which ends next September, replacing Michael Clarke, who plans to step down after six years as chief executive to return to the U.K. and spend more time with his family.—Daniel Marsteller
