•Boston, Massachusetts-based Harpoon Brewery is releasing a new version of its Baltic Porter in collaboration with WhistlePig Rye Whiskey. Harpoon has a brewery in Windsor, Vermont near WhistlePig’s Shoreham location, which led Harpoon to age its 9.5% abv porter in WhistlePig barrels for hints of rye and oak. Barrel-Aged Baltic Porter is available exclusively in 22-ounce bottles, which are in limited release and retail for $14. Harpoon is the 18th-largest craft brewer in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.

•Correction: While E.&J. Gallo and Constellation have revised the terms of their billion-dollar deal covering a host of Constellation’s value wine and spirits brands to address Federal Trade Commission (FTC) competition concerns, they stress that the revised transaction is still awaiting formal approval by the FTC. It’s now expected to close by March 1.
