•Asheville, North Carolina craft brewer Hi-Wire has announced a new offering that’s set to hit shelves in the New Year. Go Getter Low Calorie IPA clocks in at 4% abv and 100 calories, and is brewed with American hops for a low-bitterness session IPA. The beer will be available throughout Hi-Wire’s distribution footprint starting January 1 in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans. In addition, Hi-Wire has released a new edition of its Hop Circus IPA—this one a 6% abv expression made with El Dorado and Mosaic hops. It’s also set to debut S’mores Porter, a 6% abv beer brewed with vanilla, chocolate, and cinnamon, on January 1.

•Chicago-based Revolution Brewing will release Legal-Hero Hazy IPA on January 1 to commemorate cannabis legalization in Illinois. The 8% abv beer was brewed with Strata, Eureka, and Columbus hops but does not contain any cannabis. Legal-Hero will debut at Revolution’s brewery on January 1, available on draft for $7 and in a 4-pack of 16-ounce cans for $14. On January 2 it will be available for a limited time at Revolution’s separate brewpub.
