•After counting down its top 10 smokes of the year throughout this week, Cigar Aficionado will unveil its Cigar of the Year today right here. Tomorrow, the magazine will cap its year-end festivities with the publication of its full list of the Top 25 Cigars of 2019.

•Folio Fine Wine Partners is entering the Washington wine segment, taking on national marketing and sales for the Luke Columbia Valley portfolio, effective January 1. Luke’s range includes a Barrel Fermented Chardonnay ($21), Syrah ($25), Cabernet Sauvignon ($25), Merlot ($25), and Red Blend ($25). Luke founder and winemaker Thomas Vogele previously served in national sales roles with Folio during his 10-year tenure with the company.

•Bacardi has launched a new ad campaign on Southern Glazer’s e-commerce platform, SGProof. The holiday push, the first of its kind on the new e-commerce site, is focused on Grey Goose vodka and Bacardi Coquito, a limited edition coconut cream liqueur. Southern Glazer’s says the move positions the two Bacardi labels “directly in front of the most influential audience in the spirits business—the people making the beverage buying decisions at thousands of restaurants, bars, and retail stores during the important holiday season.” SGProof has launched across 19 U.S. markets and is slated to be up and running across the entirety of Southern Glazer’s North American footprint by the end of March.
