•California-based Coronado Brewing has named craft beer veteran James Murray as CEO. Murray was most recently COO of wellness beverage company Sol-ti, but prior to that he spent more than a decade with Ballast Point as vice president of brewing, eventually becoming vice president of brewing operations at Constellation Brands. In his new role, he’ll look to drive growth for Coronado, whose core range includes Islander IPA, Mermaid’s Red, Weekend Vibes, and Orange Ave Wit, among others. Coronado’s epletions are currently up 12% year-on-year, according to the company.

•Massachusetts-based Night Shift Distributing is adding Loverboy Sparkling Hard Tea to its portfolio. Available in White Tea Peach, Hibiscus Pom, and Lemon Iced Tea flavors, Loverboy is at 4.2% abv and has 90 calories per can. It’s made with organic brewed tea, botanicals, and monk fruit and is also present in the New York and South Florida markets. Night Shift’s portfolio also includes Dad’s Hat whiskey, Backpack wine, and Destihl beers among other brands.
