•Old Fitzgerald 15-year-old Bottled-in-Bond, Wine-Finished Bardstown Bourbon, and new entries from Penderyn Distillery, A. Smith Bowman, and Tullibardine are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest whiskey roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Industry veteran David Driscoll has been named spirits portfolio manager at Skurnik Wines West. Driscoll previously served for many years as the spirits buyer for California retailer K&L Wine Merchants and was most recently a private consultant. In his new role, he’ll look to bolster Skurnik’s spirits distribution business in California. “Our goal is to replicate the huge success we’ve had with spirits on the East Coast, and David is uniquely equipped to lead us there,” said Harmon Skurnik, president of Skurnik Wines and Spirits.
