Craft Brewing and Distilling News for January 10, 2020

January 10, 2020

•Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Tattersall Distilling is adding a certified organic vodka to its lineup. The organic entry replaces the existing vodka in Tattersall’s range. Tattersall sources its grains from Four Sisters Farm in Rochester. The 40% abv organic vodka retails for $25 a 750-ml., the same as its predecessor, and is available now. Tattersall produces more than 30 spirits and liqueurs that are distributed to 23 states.

•Boulder, Colorado’s Avery Brewing will launch Sparkle, a new line of hard seltzer, beginning in February. The 5% abv seltzers will initially come in three flavors—cherry lime, grapefruit, and CranRaz—with 100 calories per serving and zero added sugar. The new gluten free line will be available in mixed 12-packs of 12-ounce cans and in 6-packs of individual flavors throughout Avery’s distribution footprint. Avery Brewing is part of the Mahou San Miguel family of brewers.
