Craft Brewing and Distilling News for January 15, 2020

•Reyes Beer Division, through its Crest Beverage LLC subsidiary, has agreed to acquire the majority of Claypool Distributing Company’s Imperial, California-based business. The transaction is set to close in February and financial terms have not been disclosed. Reyes will add roughly 650,000 cases to its portfolio through the acquisition, spread over 400 new accounts. Reyes Beer Division operates in California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

•Correction: In yesterday’s issue it was incorrectly stated that LibDib connects suppliers with local wholesalers. In fact, LibDib is a licensed wholesaler that sells directly to on- and off-premise accounts.
