•Stoli Group has named industry veteran Jonathan Hollister as chief commercial officer, responsible for commercial operations across the U.S. and Canada. Hollister spent more than a decade at Jackson Family Wines and its California distributor Regal Wine Co., where he was most recently national sales manager for Atlas and Estate wineries. His appointment closely follows that of Diageo veteran Dan Buttling as Stoli Group’s global chief marketing officer and former Patrón vice president of international sales Matthias Knoll as senior vice president of international distribution.

•Randall Grahm, one of California’s most innovative vintners and the founder of Bonny Doon Vineyard, has sold the brand to WarRoom Ventures LLC after 35 years in business. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but Grahm will remain as winemaker and a partner with WarRoom. Bonny Doon’s production manager Nicole Walsh will also stay on board to oversee the winemaking. Wine Spectator has the full story.

•Rutherford, California-based Round Pond Estate has promoted Scott Reed to director of national and international sales. Reed first came to Round Pound in 2015, serving as Midwest regional sales manager, before moving into the Eastern Division sales manager role in 2017, and finally the national sales manager position in 2018. As director of national and international sales, he replaces Diane Cline, who will be staying on in a limited capacity moving forward.

•Mezcal De Amor S.A.P.I. De C.V., parent company of Mezcal Amarás, has named Shelley Turner as senior vice president of sales and operations, an appointment intended to sharpen the brand’s focus on the U.S. market. Turner will report directly to company CEO Enrique Gavica. She comes to Mezcal Amarás with decades of industry experience, previously serving as Q Mixers vice president of sales, as well as at Stoli and Moët Hennessy. In the U.S., the company’s core portfolio includes Amarás Espadín and Amarás Cupreata mezcals.
