News Alert: Cuervo CEO Diagnosed With COVID-19

The coronavirus continues to take a toll on the drinks industry, with Grupo Cuervo announcing today that its CEO, Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, has tested positive.

In a brief statement, Cuervo said today that “Mr Beckmann’s health is stable and he is following the respective medical protocols.” The company added that it “continues to operate in the ordinary course of business and as CEO in charge of the company’s operations, Mr. Beckmann is fulfilling his responsibilities from home with the support of the entire management team.”—Daniel Marsteller
