•Pernod Ricard has acquired Monkey 47 gin in its entirety after previously making a majority investment in the brand in 2016. Terms weren’t disclosed. Alexander Stein, who founded the high-end German gin label, will remain onboard in an advisory capacity. Monkey 47 is part of Pernod’s portfolio of small but emerging brands, which also include Lillet, Del Maguey, Malfy, and Smooth Ambler, among others.

•Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC) has introduced a Hero Bonus program recognizing the contributions of its front-line workforce in the time of coronavirus. “As part of the supply chain for essential businesses, drivers, warehouse associates, merchandisers, and sales professionals have ensured retail businesses are stocked daily, working with buyers who service RNDC and Young’s communities,” the company noted. The bonus program rewards those workers who serve in customer-facing roles amid the COVID-19 public health emergency.

•375 Park Avenue Spirits has been named the exclusive U.S. sales and distribution partner for super-premium cachaça brand Novo Fogo. Effective May 1, 375 Park—an independent subsidiary and fully integrated sales company owned by Sazerac—will handle Novo Fogo’s full line. The brand has three core expressions (Silver, Chameleon, and Barrel-Aged Cachaça) and RTDs, as well as more limited releases, including its line of spirits aged in two types of wood, and a single barrel program. The cachaças retail between $30-$300.
