April 13, 2020

•Kansas City, Missouri-based Boulevard Brewing Company has released Fling Mojito, a new 100-calorie canned cocktail. The 5% abv drink has only 2 grams of carbs and is made with rum, lime, mint, and other natural flavors. The RTD cocktail will be available in most of Boulevard’s 32-state distribution footprint in 4-packs of 12-ounce cans. Mojito is the seventh release in the Fling family, joining Blood Orange Vodka Soda, Cucumber Lime Gin and Tonic, Margarita, Mai Tai, Rye Whiskey Mule, and Bourbon Smash.

•Colorado craft player Lone Tree Brewing has launched three new beers in retailers across the state. First up is Lone Tree IPA, a 6.2% abv ale brewed with Centennial, Cascade, and Zythos hops. It’s the first flagship IPA from the brewery. The company has also released Castle Rock Pale Ale, a 5.6% abv beer brewed specifically to launch at the opening of a Whole Foods in Castle Rock, Colorado, and also available at Lone Tree’s tap room. Finally, the brewery has released Strawberry Kiwi Blonde Ale, a 5.2% abv summer seasonal that’s available in Colorado and Kansas.

•Correction: In last Thursday’s issue, we mistakenly listed 7 Deadly Zins as part of the Michael David Winery portfolio. In fact, The Wine Group acquired 7 Deadly from Michael David in 2018.
