April 16, 2020•Portland, Oregon’s Cascade Brewing has released Mayan Bourbonic 2017, a new variation on the brewery’s barrel aged Bourbonic Plague. The 11.7% abv sour Imperial Porter is aged with dates in ex-Bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years before blending with cinnamon, cocoa powder, and cayenne pepper. Though Mayan Bourbonic has been available before at the brewery’s tap houses, this is the beer’s first bottled release.
