•Treasury Wine Estates has named Stuart Boxer to the newly created role of chief strategy and corporate development officer. Boxer, who was previously chief financial officer and executive general manager, strategy at Australian paint company Dulux, is charged with leading “strategic business planning and driving priority growth, transformation, and business improvement initiatives, the commercial investment strategy, as well as mergers and acquisitions,” according to the company. Last month, Treasury announced it was eyeing a potential demerger of its Penfolds business, which would create a new company for the Australian luxury wine brand.

•Martini & Rossi, part of the Bacardi portfolio, has launched two new frozen RTD cocktails, Frosé and Frosecco. The 6.5% abv wine cocktails come in 10-ounce packages and can be consumed right from the pouch or poured into glasses. Both are made from Italian wine with natural fruit flavors added and do not contain artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup. Martini & Rossi Frosé and Frosecco are now available across the U.S. for $4 a pouch.

•Glenfiddich has partnered with online auction house Whisky Auctioneer to raise money for Speyside charities providing pandemic relief. From May 17-22, Whisky Auctioneer will accept bids for 450 bottles of Glenfiddich 2007 Spirit of Speyside Distillery Edition 2020, each one individually numbered and signed by master distiller Brian Kinsman, with all proceeds going to charity. The whisky, originally selected for the now cancelled Spirit of Speyside festival, matured in ex-Sherry casks and is bottled at 65.7% abv. Glenfiddich is part of the William Grant & Sons portfolio.

•Seagram’s Gin has debuted its latest flavored expression, Watermelon Twisted. Featuring a base of Seagram’s Extra Dry gin that’s infused with watermelon flavors, Seagram’s Watermelon Twisted gin is now available nationwide, retail priced at $11 a 750-ml. The new extension joins the flagship dry gin as well as Pineapple, Lime, Peach, Grape, Red Berry, Melon, and Apple Twisted gins. Part of the Pernod Ricard portfolio, Seagram’s is the top-selling gin brand by volume in the U.S. at just under 1.8 million cases, according to Impact Databank.

•Vinexpo has announced that its 2021 exhibition at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Center will be held next February 3-4. Programming will include a schedule of conferences and master classes, a Key Buyer Program offering VIP perks to high-volume wine and spirits buyers, and the WOW! Pavilion showcasing organic wines. Vinexpo’s upcoming exhibitions are scheduled as follows: Shanghai, October 21-23, 2020; New York, February 3-4, 2021; Paris, February 15-17, 2021; Hong Kong, February 23-25, 2021; Bordeaux, June 2021; and Shanghai, October 2021.

•Boston, Massachusetts-based online delivery platform Drizly has appointed Cathy Lewenberg as COO. Lewenberg joins Drizly following a seven-year tenure at CVS Health, where she rose to become vice president of digital and omnichannel business. She brings her expertise in the interplay of e-commerce and physical retail to Drizly, where she’ll oversee operations amid a period of rapid growth for the company.
