•George Dickel 11-year-old Bottled in Bond, Iowa Single Malt, and new offerings from GlenAllachie and Sam Houston are among the whiskies featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Seghesio Family Vineyards, part of the Crimson Wine Group portfolio, has unveiled a new Sonoma Chardonnay. Retailing at $22 a 750-ml., the newcomer is sourced from selected vineyards in some of the region’s cooler climates and blended with a small portion of Vermentino from Seghesio’s estate Keyhole Ranch Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Seghesio, which is marking its 125th Anniversary this year, has over 300 acres in Sonoma growing regions including the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys.

•San Diego, California’s Cutwater Spirits has launched Rum Mint Mojito, the latest addition to the company’s line of canned cocktails. The 5.9% abv offering is made using Cutwater’s white rum, cane sugar, mint, and soda water. The gluten-free drink is the 19th entry in Cutwater’s line of canned cocktails and is now available in California, New York, and Florida in 4-packs of 12-ounce cans for around $10. Rum Mint Mojito is also available in Cutwater’s recently reopened Tasting Room and Kitchen in San Diego. Cutwater is part of the Anheuser-Busch InBev portfolio.
