•The Raventós Codorníu Group has named Sergio Fuster as the company’s new CEO, effective in September. Fuster joins Raventós Codorníu from the Kellogg Company, where he served as global CMO. Prior to his time at Kellogg, Fuster worked at Procter & Gamble, United Biscuits, and Danone. He brings decades of experience in consumer goods to his new role and will guide Raventós Codorníu as it markets its international portfolio of wines and Cavas. Current CEO Ramón Raventós will remain as director of business development and retain his shares in the company.

•Markham Napa Valley Vineyards is introducing The Altruist, a new Bordeaux-style red blend honoring veterans, first responders, and other community heroes. Launching nationally at $30 a 750-ml., The Altruist is a Merlot-based blend of Napa Valley grapes predominantly from Markham’s estate vineyards. The launch coincides with Markham’s charitable donation to and partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, dedicated to honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. Beginning with The Altruist, Markham is debuting new lightweight bottles across its line as part of its sustainability efforts.
