•Some of Bordeaux’s leading vintners are looking to Provence. French billionaire, vintner, and hotelier Michel Reybier and his family have acquired Château La Mascaronne in the Côtes de Provence appellation from American Tom Bove. And Jean-Guillaume Prats, who worked for Reybier as CEO at Château Cos-d’Estournel and now fills the same role at Lafite Rothschild has, along with his family, joined French tycoon Stéphane Courbit as minority partners in the acquisition of Château d’Estoublon in Baux-de-Provence. •Breakthru Beverage Group and Molson Coors have expanded their partnership in Southern Nevada. The distributor is now carrying Molson Coors’ full portfolio, including all Miller brands, in the region. The companies have worked together for over 40 years and this expansion comes after Molson Coors named Breakthru its top performing distributor in Nevada for the third year in a row. Breakthru plans to expand its Nevada beer team to meet the needs of the newly expanded business.
•Carbonadi vodka, a luxury Italian spirit, is expanding its distribution footprint. The 40% abv vodka is distilled from organic wheat and filtered through black diamonds (carbonados), giving the brand its name and opaque black bottle.
