Biggar & Leith Unveils Hotel Starlino Brand, Aimed At Aperitivo Occasions

New Jersey-based Biggar & Leith has launched Hotel Starlino, a new line that includes a Vermouth, a Rosé aperitivo, and Maraschino cherries. Both drinks are made by Torino Distillati and come in at 17% abv. Hotel Starlino’s aperitivo is made from rosé wine, grapefruit peel, orange peel, neutral spirits, and eight other botanicals. The brand’s vermouth is made from a blend of Italian white wine, Sicilian Ansonica and Cataratto wines, and Marsala wine, infused with botanicals including cloves, wormwood, and bitter orange.

Hotel Starlino is rolling out now in New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. The drinks retail for around $25 and the cherries for $15. Led by industry veteran Elwyn Gladstone along with business partner Mark Teasdale, Biggar & Leith quickly grew a previous innovation, Malfy gin, to 100,000 cases before selling it to Pernod Ricard last year for an undisclosed sum.
