•Stella Rosa has launched a new higher-alcohol Royale expression. Stella Rosa Royale is billed as a darker, richer version of the brand’s existing Rosso, and carries an abv of 8% compared with 5% for the core offering. •Crown Royal has teamed with Main Street Alliance to raise money for struggling independent bars, stages, and other venues across the U.S. The initiative kicks off with the release of “If You Want Me to Stay,” a cover of the Sly and the Family Stone song by Ari Lennox and Anthony Ramos. For each stream of the song, Crown Royal will donate to Main Street Alliance, and Lennox and Ramos will donate their royalties, with record labels Dreamville/Interscope and Republic Records matching the artists’ contributions. The initiative will also be supported by TV spots featuring Lennox, Ramos, and affected venues across the U.S.

•Oregon-based Erath Winery has opened a new tasting room in downtown Portland’s Pearl District. Extensive Covid-19 precautions will be in place for the time being, among them reservation-only seatings and limits of 6 people per group. Part of the Ste.
