•Greenlane Holdings has named Michael Celluci president of sales and marketing North America. Celluci was previously president of cigar maker Drew Estate. At Greenlane, Celluci will look to accelerate growth for the company’s portfolio, which includes owned brands like Vibes rolling papers, accessories from Keith Haring and Marley Natural, and the Higher Standards retail brand. Greenlane also serves as a distributor for partner brands including Storz & Bickel, Pax, Juul, and Firefly, among others.

•Los Angeles-based NXT Water has introduced a new CBD water brand, Akeso. The new entry integrates 12mg of hemp-derived CBD and electrolytes in still water with zero calories, flavor or sugar. Tested first in Southern California and New York—with a focus on fitness chains and retail—Akeso sells in 500-ml. bottles and is now available nationwide via its e-commerce platform. NXT Water recently named Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits and Diageo veteran Tony Kalich as head of national sales and distribution as it looks to build out Akeso’s footprint around the country.

•Former KushCo Holdings execs Jason Vegotsky and Arun Kurichety have launched Petalfast, a new cannabis-focused sales and marketing agency and brand accelerator. Petalfast is divided into two channels: a go-to-market accelerator serving a selection of high-potential brands; and ongoing agency services. The accelerator will at first focus only on California—leveraging a dedicated salesforce and access to Petalfast’s preferred distributor, Herbl—with other states to follow, while agency services are available to brands nationally. Current brands in Petalfast’s accelerator platform include Space Coyote, Big Pete’s Treats, Honey Oil, and Weed.
