Wine.com’s Revenues Soar In Fiscal First Half
November 24, 2020E-commerce player Wine.com saw revenues leap 217% to $176 million in the six months through September, representing the first half of its fiscal year. The online retailer’s trailing 12-month revenues totaled $285 million, doubling year-on-year.
Wine.com said revenue from mobile devices was up markedly in the last 12 months, accounting for $100 million, roughly double the total from the year-earlier period. The company’s StewardShip membership program also surged, rising 123% to $157 million. Meanwhile, Wine.com’s foray into spirits in California, Florida, New Jersey, and New York has provided additional momentum, with spirits making up 10% of revenues in those markets.—Daniel Marsteller
