January 12, 2021•Virginia-based Catoctin Creek Distilling Co. is set to triple its capacity with a $1 million distillery upgrade. The investment will include a 2,000-liter copper pot still from Specific Mechanical Systems in British Columbia, a glycol cooling system, a new 2,000-liter mash tank and six 2,000-liter fermenters. Known for its Virginia rye whiskey, Catoctin Creek is currently present across 27 U.S. markets, with co-founder and general manager Scott Harris noting that the investment will further bolster its national expansion efforts.
