Wine.com’s Sales Top $300 Million For 2020January 14, 2021
Wine.com posted sales up 119% to $329 million in calendar 2020, including a 64% jump to $111 million in the fourth quarter. Growth was driven by the online retailer’s StewardShip subscription program, which offers free shipping and delivered revenues up 149% to $189 million. Revenue from mobile devices, bolstered by the Wine.com app, were also up strongly at 111% to $110 million.
Wine.com saw millennial and younger consumers continue to increase their contribution last year, with those groups representing 44% of all new customers in 2020.
