•Coalition Rye, Torabhaig Single Malt, and newcomers from The Family Jones, Westland, and Johnnie Walker are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest whiskey roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Freixenet Mionetto USA has named Joseph LoSardo as chief sales and operations officer. LoSardo was previously senior vice president of sales, having held that post for three years. In his new role, LoSardo will oversee sales, logistics, and commercial finance, as well as route-to-market optimizations, forecasting, and planning, and focus on sales training. Additionally, Robert Kiernan has been promoted to vice president of sales, responsible for managing the national sales team, comprised of director of sales divisions, national accounts, and the Luxury Collection teams.

•Chicago-based importer and marketer Winesellers, Ltd. has extended its organic Italian brand Tiamo with a Prosecco DOC Rosé. A blend of organically grown Glera and Pinot Noir, the new Tiamo Prosecco DOC Rosé is rolling out nationwide, retail priced at $16 a 750-ml. The bubbly joins Prosecco, rosé, Pinot Grigio, and red, among other wines, in the Tiamo lineup.

•Glen Rock, New Jersey’s Opici Wines has entered the non-alcoholic beverage space with MeMento, a new sugar-, gluten-, and alcohol-free spirit. The Italian import is also vegan and is described as a distilled aromatic water, made from rosemary, rose, and bay laurel, among other botanicals. MeMento is now available across the U.S. for around $37 a 750-ml.
