•Proximo Spirits’ Maestro Dobel has partnered with the PGA Tour to become the first official Tequila of the Tour. The multi-year partnership will feature retail signs and activations across the U.S., promoting the Tequila and its association with the PGA Tour. At the upcoming Players Championship, the brand will unveil the Diamante Tee Time, a new Tequila, green tea, and jalapeño cocktail created for the partnership. In addition, the brand’s releases will be featured during the Players Championship and supported by digital and social activations throughout the year.

•Ketel One Botanical Spritz is stepping up distribution following a limited launch last September. The sparkling canned cocktail comes in three flavors: Peach & Orange Blossom, Cucumber & Mint, and Grapefruit & Rose, all at 3.6% abv. All three flavors also include no carbs, no added sugar, and 73 calories. The brand, part of the Diageo portfolio, is now available in over 20 states including major markets like California, Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania, among others, for a suggested retail price of $15 a 4-pack of 12-ounce cans or $4 individually. Ketel One was up 9% to 2.61 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank, ranking seventh among all vodka brands.

•Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits has added a new release to the Josh Cellars portfolio: Prosecco Rosé. The winemaking was overseen by Italian winemaker Daniele Pozzi, who previously collaborated with the brand on their standard Prosecco offering. Josh Cellars Prosecco Rosé is now available nationwide for around $15 a bottle. Last year, Josh was up nearly 35% to over 4.5 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Don Sebastiani & Sons has promoted Omar Percich to CEO, effective immediately. Percich joined Don & Sons in 2017 as CFO and was subsequently appointed COO on the retirement of Tom Hawkins. In his newly expanded role, Percich will continue to work closely with Don & Sons president Donny Sebastiani to grow sales and profit across a portfolio including such brands as B Side, Simple Life and The Crusher.
