Whisky Advocate: Kentucky Bourbon Now Hitting Mailboxes

It’s now easier for consumers in a number of states to get their hands on whiskies from their favorite Kentucky distillers. A new state law now allows distilleries, along with wineries and breweries, to ship directly to in-state residents, as well as states with reciprocal agreements (currently Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Rhode Island, plus Washington, D.C.). That means that even if consumers can’t get to a distillery for a special release, they could potentially have a bottle delivered to their doorsteps. Whisky Advocate has the full story.—Julia Higgins
