Barbara Banke, Peggy Furth Team On WindRacer Luxury Wine Brand

June 1, 2021

Wine industry luminaries Barbara Banke and Peggy Furth have unveiled WindRacer, a new luxury wine label. The collection of six single-vineyard wines, which include cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir bottlings, takes inspiration from the founders’ shared love of thoroughbred racehorses. The limited production wines are launching first in California, Florida, Kentucky, and New York, as well as online.

The WindRacer portfolio includes Saralee’s Vineyard Chardonnay ($65) and Bloomfield Vineyard Pinot Noir ($75) from the Russian River Valley, Alexander Mountain Estate Chardonnay ($65) from the Alexander Valley, Skycrest Vineyard Pinot Noir ($75) and Edmeades Vineyard Pinot Noir ($75) from the Anderson Valley, and Sealift Vineyard Pinot Noir ($75) from the Sonoma Coast.—Daniel Marsteller
