Wally’s Wine & Spirits’ New Venue In Las Vegas Is Off And Running

July 16, 2021

Los Angeles-based beverage retail and restaurant institution Wally’s Wine & Spirits made its first move outside of California this spring when it opened a massive venue in the new Resorts World Las Vegas casino-hotel on The Strip in June. Wally’s Las Vegas spans two stories and boasts more than 8,000 SKUs of wine, spirits, beer, and gourmet foods, with 125 wines by the glass, including several prestige pours ($14-$849).

Like the Wally’s California venues in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, the hybrid concept in Las Vegas includes a large restaurant and wine bar, as well as a specialty gourmet market and upscale beverage alcohol retail space. The restaurant has 12-foot-tall wine racks, two stone-topped bars, an open kitchen, and a terrace that overlooks the casino-resort. Along with a wide array of wines, Wally’s Las Vegas offers spirits and cocktails (specialty drinks are $18-$28) and upscale approachable fare (food ranges from $19-$95).

Wally’s has annual revenues of more than $60 million. It was founded in Southern California in 1968 and is run today by Market Watch Leader and 2020 “Retailer of the Year” Christian Navarro. It joins myriad other restaurants, bars, and nightlife options in Resorts World Las Vegas, including Clique Hospitality Group’s Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge, the speakeasy-style Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den, and Chef Ray Garcia’s Mexican concept ¡Viva! Valued at more than $4 billion, Resorts World Las Vegas opened in June and is the first new casino-resort on The Strip in more than a decade. Wine Spectator has more on Wally’s new Las Vegas venue.
