Canopy Bets On Smaller Pre-Rolls Amid Pandemic

July 27, 2021

Canopy Growth has launched new lines of pre-rolls under its Tweed and Ace Valley brands. While most commercial joints contain 0.5g of flower and are intended to be shared among a group, Tweed Quickies and Ace Valley Pinners were made with a single consumer in mind and contain 0.35g and 0.3g, respectively. Even if consumers are using pre-rolls in a social setting, Canopy thinks that people will still prefer to have individual joints because of the pandemic.

The launch is the first since Canopy completed its acquisition of Ace Valley in April. Tweed Quickies are available in 10-packs of Green Cush and Afghan Kush varieties while Ace Valley Pinners are available in 8-packs of Kosher Kush, OG Melon, and CBD-dominant Great White Shark across Canada now.—Danny Sullivan
