Jameson Extends With New Orange Flavor

August 10, 2021

Pernod Ricard is extending the Jameson portfolio with a new orange flavor, which will roll out in the U.S. next year. Jameson Orange combines the triple-distilled Jameson Irish Whiskey with natural orange flavoring and is bottled at 30% abv. The newcomer will debut in international markets like the U.K. and Russia, retailing at £24 ($33), before coming to the U.S. in 2022.

Hampered by on-premise restrictions due to the pandemic, Jameson’s global volume slipped 5% to 7.67 million cases last year, according to Impact Databank, but the brand retains a nearly 70% volume share of the Irish whiskey category globally, and a nearly 78% share in the U.S.—Daniel Marsteller
