•Boca Raton, Florida-based Jushi Holdings is expanding its presence in Nevada. The multi-state operator will acquire a dispensary in Las Vegas doing business under the name The Apothecarium. That name may ring a bell as the line of upscale retail locations owned and operated by TerrAscend in the San Francisco Bay area and elsewhere—in this case the name is used under license with an affiliate of TerrAscend. The storefront adds to Jushi’s April acquisition of cultivation, processing, and distribution licenses in Nevada, making it the company’s fourth vertically integrated market along with Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Massachusetts. Jushi’s brands include The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, and Sѐche.

•Pequannock, New Jersey-based Kaló is launching a line of THC seltzers in Maine. The company, which previously released a line of non-psychoactive hemp-infused seltzers in New Jersey, has partnered with Novel Beverage Co. to distribute the new THC seltzers to the 30-plus recreational dispensaries currently open in Maine. Each 12-ounce bottle of Kaló contains 5mg of THC and is available in Lemon Lavender and Pomegranate Peach flavors. The company plans to expand distribution to Massachusetts and other markets in the coming months.
