•The Buffalo Trace Antique Collection 2021 Releases, a Macallan to celebrate the New Year, and newcomers from Walsh Whiskey and Grand Teton are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Rémy Cointreau has added a new brandy to the St-Rémy portfolio in the U.S. St-Rémy Signature is bottled at 40% abv and is first matured in new oak before transferring to more traditional used casks. St-Rémy Signature is the first spirit created by the brand’s master blender Cécile Roudaut and is rolling out now in select markets across the U.S. for a suggested price of $30 a 750-ml.

•Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC) has donated $500,000 to Florida State University’s Dedman College of Hospitality. The donation establishes the RNDC Certificate of Beverage Management, designed for individuals pursuing careers in beverage management, with a primary emphasis on sales and service within the hospitality and tourism industries. RNDC’s gift will create an endowment to maintain comprehensive, high-level programming for those preparing to enter the beverage industry, while also supporting the recruitment and retention of faculty at the school.
