•Glenmorangie is introducing a special edition 18-year-old single malt in collaboration with Tokyo-based floral artist Azuma Makoto. The newcomer, which retails at $140 a 750-ml., showcases a special display, Dancing Florals of Glenmorangie, created by Makoto on its giftbox and label featuring over 100 blooms and confetti-like petals meant to evoke the whisky’s nuances. Glenmorangie is part of the Moët Hennessy portfolio.

•Grey Goose Vodka is kicking off its holiday advertising with a new campaign film. Debuting this week, the 30-second spot is called Vive Le Martini. Created by Grey Goose creative agency MullenLowe LA and directed by choreographer Ryan Heffington, it depicts the steps involved in making a Martini with a series of dance moves. The ad will run in 30- and 15- versions across television, online video, and the brand’s social media along with an influencer campaign. Grey Goose is also launching a cocktail kit made in partnership with Italian design factory Alessi this month that features a shaker, strainer, and stirrer, among other items. It’s available on Grey Goose’s website or via ReserveBar for $350.

•The Fun Wine Company, which has grown into a player in the “better for you” wine category, has aligned with Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC) across the distributor’s 37-state plus D.C. footprint. The Fun Wine Company’s portfolio includes a new Hard Bubbly Collection with Strawberry Rosé Moscato, Peach Passion Moscato, Coconut Pineapple Chardonnay, and Sangria; as well as the Café Graffiti Collection, featuring Cappuccino Chardonnay and Espresso Cabernet.

•Brown-Forman has launched Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Special Release, Coy Hill High Proof, the 2021 iteration of the company’s limited edition barrel program. The whiskey—ranging from 68.7% abv to 74.15% abv—is the highest proof bottling the distillery has ever released. It’s drawn from barrels matured in the highest levels of the Coy Hill barrel house, which is located on the highest hill at the distillery. The whiskey is rolling out now across the U.S. for a suggested retail price of $70.

•Proximo Spirits’ Hangar 1 vodka has entered the RTD market with a new line of Botanical Seltzers. The 3.5% abv brand extension is launching with four flavors—Makrut Lime, Buddha’s Hand Citron, Mandarin Blossom, and Rosé—with all coming in at 72 calories per 12.6-ounce serving without any sugars or carbs. The new seltzers are available exclusively in California with individual bottles retailing for around $4 and 4-packs for $16.

•Minnesota-based Prestige Beverage Group has promoted Justin Ashton to general manager and executive vice president of sales. Ashton joined Prestige in 2020 as EVP, business development, control states and Canada. Prior to that he served in sales, marketing, and finance roles with Stoli and Beam Suntory. The Prestige portfolio includes Kinky Beverages, Risata Wines, Yes Way Rosé, and Indoggo Gin among others.
