•Fort Collins, Colorado-based Old Elk Distillery is releasing a limited edition expression called Old Elk Infinity Blend. It’s a blend made up of 60% Six Year Old Elk Blended Straight Bourbon, 24% a 12 year old Kentucky Bourbon, and 16% an 11 year old Kentucky Bourbon. The distillery plans to use this blend in future releases, continuing annually. Old Elk Infinity Blend will be distributed by Southern Glazer’s for a national limited release, available at select retailers for $150 a 750-ml. In addition to its whiskey selection, Old Elk’s portfolio includes Nooku Bourbon Cream and Dry Town Gin.
•Brooklyn Brewery has teamed up with uptown Manhattan’s Harlem Hops to create Harlem Hopes HBCUHomecoming. The porter is aged in Uncle Nearest Bourbon barrels and the can features art by Harlem-born artist Roosevelt “Black Rose” Taylor. The beer is now available on tap and in 16-ounce cans, at Harlem Hops, the Brooklyn Brewery Tasting Room, Bierwax, Sampler BK, Camela’s Tasting Room, Draught Industries, Beer Noggin, The Local Nyack, Eddie’s Roadhouse, Mohawk Taproom, Luke’s Lobster, Whitman’s Hudson Yards, and Wolf & Warrior.
