•Woodford Reserve is releasing the winter installment of its Master’s Collection series. The latest is Woodford Reserve Five-Malt Stouted Mash, which references the “distiller’s beer” stage of whiskey production and in this case mimics classic beer flavors as well. It was made in Woodford’s triple pot stills and was bottled at 45.2% abv, making it the 17th release in the Master’s Collection. Five-Malt Stouted Mash is available in select U.S. markets for $130 a 750-ml.

•Fort Worth, Texas-based TX Whiskey is launching three canned cocktails. The new trio of RTDs are TX Whiskey & Cola, TX Whiskey Ranch Water, and TX Whiskey & Sweet Tea, all 7% abv. They are made with TX Blended Whiskey and are available now exclusively in Texas, where a 4-pack of 12-ounce cans retails for a suggested $13. TX Whiskey was established in 2010 by Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co. and is now part of Pernod Ricard. The TX brand was up 31% to 72,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Dominican rum brand Kirk and Sweeney is releasing a new spicy variation. It’s called Burning Mast and features liquid finished in red pepper barrels around two weeks. Distilled from blackstrap molasses and aged in a variety of American and French oak barrels, Burning Mast is an 81/19 blend of regular Kirk and Sweeney Reserva rum and the same that aged in the red pepper barrels. It’s available now in select regional markets including Louisiana, Texas, California, Arizona, Georgia, and Maryland for $50 a 750-ml. Kirk and Sweeney is part of the Sonoma-based 3 Badge Beverage Corp. portfolio. Kirk & Sweeney grew 21% to 16,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Rap and pop star Cardi B has partnered with Santa Monica, California’s Starco Brands for Whipshots, a new vodka-infused whipped cream. The 10% abv whipped cream comes in three flavors—vanilla, caramel, and mocha—each available in 50-ml. ($6), 200-ml. ($14), and 375-ml. ($20) cans. Through December, the brand, which is working with RNDC, will release 500 cans per day on its website ahead of a wider retail rollout in 2022.
