•Pewaukee, Wisconsin’s Brew Pipeline has launched Motörhead Ace of Spades Straight Bourbon, its newest collaborative release with the British rock band. The 4-year-old whiskey is made from a mash of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% barley and was distilled and bottled by Fargo, North Dakota’s Proof Artisan Distillers. Motörhead Ace of Spades is now available in California and Rhode Island, and can be shipped to 41 states through Craft Shack.

•Peoria, Illinois-based JK Williams Distilling is aiming to expand into four new states next year, including Missouri, Minnesota, Indiana, and Kentucky. The craft distiller’s portfolio includes Gold Zephyr Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Stormy River High Rye Whiskey, and The Bridge Series: American Wheat Whiskey and Blueprint Vodka. JK Williams is also adding a new 1,000-gallon distilling system early next year as it looks to ramp up production. The moves come on the heels of a new undisclosed investment in the business by British serial entrepreneur Rory Sweet and his wife Elisabeth through their family investment fund.
