Pacific Highway, Bundschu Partner With Country Musicians The Chicks On New Wine Label

January 28, 2022

Country rock band The Chicks are entering the celebrity wine space, unveiling their new Gaslighter brand in collaboration with California’s Bundschu winery and national distribution and sales partner Pacific Highway Wines.

Gaslighter launches immediately with a 2020 California Rosé of Pinot Noir ($25). In March, a new 2021 vintage of that wine will debut, along with a Sonoma Coast Sauvignon Blanc ($25). This fall, the Gasligher lineup will expand at the high end with a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ($65) and Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon ($140), which are slated to debut in the DTC channel.

The Gaslighter wines are sourced from the Bundschu family’s estate vineyards along with selected growers across Sonoma County and Napa Valley, and bottled at Bundschu’s winery in Sonoma Valley. Pacific Highway is targeting volume of about 30,000 cases for Gaslighter’s first year, with the brand set to receive ample exposure along The Chicks’ planned summer 2022 concert tour.—Daniel Marsteller
