WSWA Convention To Return In 2023 In Revamped Format
February 4, 2022The Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) announced that it will not hold its annual convention this year but promised its return in 2023. The organization cited ongoing caution and concerns surrounding Covid as the reason for cancelling this year’s event.
WSWA promised a completely reimagined version of its convention when it returns next year, with plans to showcase supplier growth, provide media asset creation, encourage networking and dealmaking, and to deliver experiential learning and wholesaler thought leadership.
“The future of world-class events was changing pre-Covid and, like so many things, Covid accelerated the need to embrace innovation,” said WSWA president and CEO Michelle Korsmo. “We know WSWA will deliver the best immersive event for attendees, and we can’t wait to welcome the industry back for an outstanding WSWA experience in 2023.”—Danny Sullivan
