Bacardi Kicks Off New Campaign For Flagship Rum Brand

Bacardi has kicked off a new ad campaign for its namesake rum brand called “Move Like It’s Summer.” The new campaign falls under the wider Bacardi “Do What Moves You” umbrella and will feature the 30-second titular main ad as well as two 15-second shorts titled “Beach Day” and “Block Party.”

The ads will support a variety of Bacardi serves including cocktails made with Bacardi’s flagship and coconut rums, as well as Bacardi Real Rum Canned Cocktails. They were created by BBDO New York and will run on social channels as well as national TV and cable channels, including during the NBA Playoffs. Bacardi leads the U.S. rum market with volume of 6.8 million cases in 2021, according to Impact Databank.
